Can you imagine what it is like to be 80 years of age, and subjected to abuse by your family or by a close friend? Each year, over 500,000 older people have that experience.

Very often, people are left confused, depressed and housebound by what has happened, and they need sensitive help to recover their confidence and self- worth. Could you help them do that?

This post will be perfect for someone who wants to help develop a local service, making a real difference to the lives of very vulnerable older people.

We’re looking for an exceptional person to help develop our Elder Abuse Recovery Service in Lambeth, Southwark and Croydon. You will recruit, train and support volunteers to provide support to older victims to enable them to recover.
