Who we are: Charity Legal documents

Action on Elder Abuse is both a charity and a company limited by guarantee. This means that we have legal responsibilities both to the Charity Commission and to Companies House in terms of submitting annual information on our activities and accounts.

We hold an Annual General Meeting, usually at our primary conference each year, and this elects trustee/directors, considers any resolutions put forward by members, and debates key issues. Our Chief Executive is also our Company Secretary.

Our Memorandum and Articles of Association are the rules that we are legally required to follow when managing the charity’s action and activities. These, and copies of all our Annual Reports, can be obtained by clicking here.
