Fundraising

Fundraising is a great way to show your support for Action on Elder Abuse while raising much needed funds for the charity. As a small national organisation we rely on the support of our fundraisers to finance many of our projects, and all of our work makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. 

Whatever you decide to do as a fundraiser we will fully support you with advice and guidance and publicity for your event.  We will connect you with the online systems that allow you to promote your event and also keep track of how much you have collected.  And you have fun too!

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is an annual event which aims to raise the awareness of elder abuse issues around the world. As the lead co-ordinator for all UK activities we have a number of ways available for your to get in on the action. To find out more, click here.

Running Events ...

The London 10k run this year has several people raising funds for AEA. This is a fantastic way of raising money for our cause and we would greatly appreciate it if you gave them your support.  To find out more, click here

Skydiving ...

Whether its been a lifelong dream or a double dare, we've teamed up with the UK's top parachuting school to bring you FREE skydiving. All we ask is that you raise a minimum sponsorship amount and your jump will be absolutely free. Have you got a great idea for a fundraising event? From balls to barbeques to fancy dress to Big Brother days to tea parties – there’s a million and one ways to have fun and help us at the same time!

We are always looking for people to host events in aid of Action on Elder Abuse. By holding such an event, you will be helping us help those vulnerable older adults who so need our help.
